Since opening our local Ronald McDonald House in 1984, our mission has been embraced and proudly supported by our local McDonald’s owner/operators.
McDonald’s is the organization’s first corporate partner and advocate, earning the designation of “Founding and Forever Partner. ” That commitment isn’t just national, it’s deeply local. For decades, McDonald’s employees, franchisees, suppliers, and customers in our community have stepped forward with donations, volunteer hours, and heartfelt support to ensure families staying with us always have a place to call home.
From the opening of the very first Ronald McDonald House in 1974 in Philadelphia, to our doors opening here in Oklahoma City ten years later, this partnership has helped make comfort and care possible for families when they need it most.
One of the simplest ways to support the House is through the Round Up program at local McDonald’s restaurants. When you choose to round up your purchase to the nearest dollar, you’re making a small gesture that creates a big impact for families right here in our community.
It’s a simple question at the register or kiosk, and with the Round Up donation staying local, this is a powerful way to help provide comfort to families with children receiving medical care.
